Manning lost to the #1 and the #3 team. Therefore, they have to be ranked #4 or less. Computer currently has them #5.

Martensdale-St. Marys and Elgin Valley are both "suffering" from the absolute dominance of District 3 in non-district play. Currently computer thinks District 3 is stunningly tough. All other teams are therefore bumped down because of this.

Treynor is assumed to be equal in strength to the best team in Districts 3-8. Again this is an assumption that cannot be verified until the playoffs. This assumption directly contributed to the ranking of #3 Newell-Fonda and #5 Manning.
