Notes for Econ Majors

aMay be waived for students who have Economics as a secondary major along with a primary major outside fo the Liberal Arts and Sciences college.

bStudents must also maintain a C average in Econ 101, 102, 301, and 302 as well as a C average in all Econ courses taken.

cStudents who plan to pursue post-graduate work in economics or who want a more quantitative program should take the Math 165, 166 sequence.

dStudents must take a sufficient number of elective credits to reach the minimum number of 120 total credits and the minimum number of 45 graded credits of 300+ level courses required to graduate from the Liberal Arts and Sciences College (with no more than 9 credits of 490, Independent Study, in a single discipline).

Notes for Ag Business Majors

In addition to these group requirements, Ag Business majors must satisfy College of Ag "intensive" communication, problem solving, computer proficiency, and environmental requirements. These requirements are normally met by taking the above courses.

aA minimum grade of C is required by the College of Ag in 6 credits of composition and 3 credits of speech.

bStudents planning to attend graduate school should substitute Math 165 for Math 160 and Math 166 for Econ 207.
