Minor In Economics
About the Minor
- A minor, which is optional, must consist of at least 15 credits, with at least 6 credits in courses numbered 300 and above taken at ISU with a grade of C or higher.
- Courses applied toward the general education groups (LAS College) may be used to meet the requirements of a minor.
- The minor must include at least 9 credits that are not used to meet any other department, college, or university requirement.
- A minor in economics is not permitted for agricultural business or business economics majors.

Declaring a Minor:
- You must submit a completed Request For Minor Form at least one term prior to graduation.
- For minors in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the signature for Step 2 on the form must be obtained from the Department office offering the minor.
- The catalog for the minor may not be an earlier catalog than the catalog for the major/curriculum.
