Lecturer

Kevin Kimle was appointed in July 2009 the Rastetter Chair of Agricultural Entrepreneurship at Iowa State University and serves as Director of the Agricultural Entrepreneurship Initiative and a faculty member in the Economics Department. He has worked in a variety of capacities in agriculture with experiences range from two start-up companies, the seed industry, venture capital, futures markets, and agricultural and trade policy. He is well-known for his pioneering work in electronic commerce and commodity price risk management. An occasional speaker at various industry conferences and events, he has enjoyed the role of engaging audiences on topics of the day.
