Mary Mosiman, Auditor of State, will be the guest speaker at the Economics Club meeting on Thursday, Feb. 16. Mosiman, a CPA, is the first woman to hold the auditor's office in Iowa history.

Carolina Pereira Bartalotti was born February 8th at 9:56 pm. She weighs 2.891 kg (6 lbs 6 oz) and measures 49.78 cm (19 ½ in).

Leigh Tesfatsion, professor, has reported that she has received final contract forms signed by the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and ISU's OSPA confirming PNNL support (in the amount of $210,252) for her ongoing electric power market design project work.
