NBER Digitization Tutorial applications now open

The NBER project on the Economics of Digitization will hold a meeting from noon Feb. 28, 2018 through the end of day on March 2, 2017. On February 28 and March 1, the meeting will involve a tutorial for economics graduate students.

The Alfred P. Sloan Foundation has provided partial funding for hotel. The number of nights covered will depend on the number of successful applicants. Students must cover their own travel expenses. To apply students should send an application in a single pdf file (labeled with the applicant's name) with the following information:  

  • Contact information, including email address.
  • Short description of the course of study pursued during graduate work, including the type of course work pursued, major and minor focus of study, year of advance
  • Short description of general research interests or other projects pursued. If the student has proposed a dissertation, and formed a committee, please provide a short description, expected date of completion, and general details.

    The application should not exceed three pages.
