Keri Jacobs, assistant professor, was an invited speaker and session moderator at the 2017 Farmer Cooperatives Conference in St. Paul, MN, Nov. 3-4. Her presentation discussed trends and characteristics of consolidation in agriculture and implications on farmers and their cooperatives. The session featured speakers Dr. Rich Sexton of UC Davis Agriculture and Resource Economics, Allen Wegner, Board Chairman of Mid Kansas Cooperative, and Alan Woodard, CEO of Comark Equity Alliance.
