Internship Program
The Industrial Relations Program at Iowa State offers a unique opportunity for students wishing to gain practical experience in the field of industrial relations.  Students may intern in a company in the greater Ames-Des Moines area or elsewhere for a period of one academic semester.  The internship can vary in time commitment--every 50 hours of internship count for one graduate credit hour with a maximum of 6 credits for 300 internship hours. Internships can be paid or unpaid.

Every effort is made to match the student's professional interests with the availability of internship positions in the business community and public agencies.  Past experience indicates that the internship program is a most valuable educational opportunity.
