Fuller portrait to be painted, displayed

Dr. Wayne FullerWayne Fuller, distinguished professor emeritus of statistics and economics, is one of several Iowans with ties to CALS, who will be painted at the university exhibit at the Varied Industries Building during the Iowa State Fair, Aug. 11-21. Fuller, an internationally recognized scholar and beloved mentor for more than 50 years, will be painted the morning of Aug. 15. He was selected by the ISU Office of the Vice President for Research.

As the portraits are finished, they will be displayed as part of the university’s exhibit.

"Your Beautiful Adventure” is the theme of Iowa State’s exhibit in the Varied Industries Building, open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Visitors will experience art in the making while Iowa artist Rose Frantzen paints portraits on site.
