On Friday, May 20, nine Ag Business alums, including Amy Brandau, econ department academic advisor, came back to campus as part of the Curtiss League of Awesomeness Kick-Off.
Curtiss League of Awesomeness is a new initiative through the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences for select young alumni under the age of 40. Members assist the college with recruitment, advocacy and CALS awareness. Members spent the afternoon learning about Iowa State’s research on Water Quality.
They also received a College Update from Dean Wintersteen, heard a CALS Career Services Update from Mike Gaul, and met with CALS faculty and staff at a reception.
