Description: Tim Wise.  A renowned antiracist writer and educator, Wise will present "Understanding and Defeating Racism and Discrimination in America." Only five people (including former President Barack Obama) were interviewed for the video exhibition on race relations at the new National Museum of African American History and Culture. Tim Wise was one of them. CALS is working with the student organization MANRRS (Minorities in Ag, Natural Resources & Related Sciences), with the support of the University Lectures Program, to organize the public lecture.
