Cave de Fronton

Founded in 1947, Cave de Fronton is a winery cooperative in Southern France.  The cooperative has supply contracts with about 140 farmers who bring their grapes to the main facility near Toulouse, France.  The grapes are then processed and bottled at this facility.

Cave de Fronton has a very wide range of wine products, mainly because of the flexibility of the small cooperative farmers to grow different varieties, each with different growing conditions and processes.  As a result, Cave de Fronton has a very structured testing and monitoring system to distinguish between the different wines.

Cave de Fronton does its own marketing, most of which is done locally.  Some of the wine products are exported, mostly within Europe.  Cave de Fronton has its own on-site store to sell its wine products.  In addition, they market their wine to grocery stores throughout France.  The picture below is the outside of one of the buildings at the main processing facility.
