From the New York Times (Feb 17, 1999):
New York Stock Exchange report on yesterday's trades for the Ford
Motor Company
Note:For clarity, the information reported in the newspaper in one
line across is here broken up into two separate lines:
52 weeks Yld Sales

66 1/2 35 5/8 Ford s 1.84 3.2 12 27980
- 52 Weeks Hi and Lo = Highest and lowest share price achieved
by the stock over the past 52 weeks
- Stock = Stock name (s = the stock split by at least 20% over the past
year)
- Div = Annual cash dividend per share (in dollars)
- Yld % = Yield % = (annual cash dividend per share)/(yesterday's closing
stock price)
- PE = Price-Earnings Ratio = (Current stock price)/(Current annual
earnings per share)
- Sales (or Volume) 100 = Volume of shares traded yesterday (in 100s)
Hi Lo Last Change

- Hi = Highest Price at which the stock traded yesterday
- Lo = Lowest Price at which the stock traded yesterday
