Important Announcements:

1. Due to the impossibility to have unanimous shift of the exam time from finals week to the dead week

we are going to have two final exam times:

    a) Friday, May 6, 9:45am-11:05am (finals week)

    b) Thursday, April 28, 12:40pm-2:00pm (usual class time, dead week).

Each of you can choose whichever time fits your preference best and show up accordingly.

2. Due to the popular demand expressed in class, I will allow 1 (one) formula sheet to be brought to the final exam.

You have to use regular 11'' x 8.5'' letter-size paper or smaller. You can use both sides.

3. The final exam is cumulative, however, most of it will be from the last part of the course. This last part

consists of: chapters 12-15, as well as first part of chapter 16 (up to page 411), homework assignments 8-10,

and the lecture notes.

4. Homework assignment 10 solution is posted below.
