If you pass this class, you:

-have a working knowledge of microeconomic principles. 

-know how to logically abstract and analyze complex economic phenomena (“graph it”). 

-have developed some critical thinking skills.

-understand how opposing interests arrive at common contracts (marginal cost, marginal benefit). 

-can understand and predict real-world outcomes (e.g. what might happen if the price of X rises).

-can make more efficient or satisfying decisions (e.g. what choice maximizes satisfaction; or profit). 

-can deduce motives and limitations from observed choice (preferences, budgets; costs and technology).
