I intend to drop one or two of the worst assignments from being included in the grades, based on regularity and punctuality in class. If you have been intermittently missing classes on your free-will and/or did not attend the presentation of your fellow students, only one assignment would be dropped.

6/10/04, 2/3 page report or summary of the highlights of the chapters covered (Ch: 1, 2, 3). It should be printed with double spacing, font 12, Arial. There is no rigid guideline and you need to point out the concepts that you have learnt in the first three chapters.
6/22/04, refer to page 116 of the text book (Chapter 4) Answer questions 1, 3, 7. Please turn in a hard copy in class by the due date.
7/06/04, refer to page 185 (section: Problems and exercises) of the text book (Chapter 6) Answer questions 1, 3, 5. Please turn in hard copies by the due date and please do not send by email.

Please submit to me a hard copy of your presentation and/or any other material required to understand the presentation. Also submit a brief summary of the presentation stating the primary objectives of the presentation.
