A new EGSA Executive Board was recently elected by graduate students in the Department of Economics. Officers for the 2013-14 school year include Katie Lacy, president (center), Xiaoguang Feng (right), vice president, and Chao Li, treasurer (left).

The board will continue on in the tradition of former EGSA leadership, planning picnics and others student outings designed to open up social opportunities for economics graduate students.

"Our graduate students come from all over the world, and so it's good for us to have social time to come together to develop more understanding," said Feng.

"As graduate students, we all work hard, so it's good for us to take time away from our studies to enjoy ourselves and be social," said Lacy.
