The Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics (AREc) seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position. This will be a full-time (1.00 FTE), 9-month position with a primary focus in the discipline of Agricultural Business Management. The tenure home would be AREc, with possible joint appointments in other departments. The incumbent is expected to seek supplemental funding for up to 2 summer months to increase his/her salary and to enhance research and graduate education through support of Graduate Research Assistants. The person hired in this position will provide leadership in developing a nationally recognized undergraduate teaching and research program focusing on firm and industry issues in agricultural business and food system sectors, including but not limited to areas of interest such as finance, management, marketing, cooperatives, and small business management. The incumbent will be involved in the graduate teaching and advising, and directing student research.
