Seeking applications for summer Econ internship at FTC

The Bureau of Economics at the US Federal Trade Commission is seeking applications for summer internships. Applicants must be US citizens, detail oriented, highly motivated by the FTC's antitrust and/or consumer protection mission, and show an interest in economics, mathematics, or statistics. Applications from undergraduate, masters level, and PhD students are all welcome. Internships may be paid, subject to availability of funds. 2012 UChicago Summer School on Socioeconomic Inequality

2012 UNI CSBS Research Conference

The UNI College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (CSBS) organizes an annual student research conference for both graduate and undergraduate students engaged in research related to the social and behavioral sciences. The conference provides the opportunity for students to present their research, exchange ideas, learn about different disciplines, and meet students from different departments.

International Agricultural Internship

The USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) is accepting applications for the International Agricultural Internship Program (IAIP) for the 2012 summer session. Since 2000, IAIP interns have gained valuable experience in international agricultural trade by working in one of the 90 FAS overseas offices. This will be a paid internship.

IAF Fellowships support dissertation research in Latin America and the Caribbean undertaken by students who have advanced to Ph.D. candidacy in a university in the United States. Fellows must be U.S. citizens or citizens of the independent Latin American countries. Proficiency in the language(s) appropriate to the research proposal is required.
