Call for nominations: Agri-science and life sciences awards

This is a reminder regarding the approaching online Nomination deadlines for two national science competitions sponsored by the Christopher Columbus Fellowship Foundation, a Federal government agency. Nominations are being sought for four Agriscience Awards and four Life Sciences Awards to be presented in July 2013 in Washington, D.C. A copy of each Award's Call for Nominations is attached.The Agriscience Awards and Life Sciences Awards competitions each have components for a scientist; a high school educator; and two high school students.

NSF: Implementing All Project Reporting in Research.gov effective March 18

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is currently planning to implement a significant change in the way Principal Investigators (PIs) (and co-PIs) report on their NSF-funded projects. Beginning on March 18, 2013, PIs will be required to submit their annual, final and interim project reports in Research.gov, NSF’s modernization of FastLane.

This change is result of the Foundation's implementation of the Research Performance Progress Report (RPPR).
