The next time you're arranging travel for university business, compare the rates at Student Universe for your airline ticket. In many cases, the fares are quite a bit cheaper than what you can find elsewhere, especially if you're inside the two-week advance purchase deadline. University Holiday

University offices will be closed and classes will not be held Monday, January 15, in observance of the national Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.

It's a boy!

Congratulations to David and Siggy Frankel on the birth of Eli Eden Frankel born Monday, December 11, at 9:06 a.m. weighing 9 lbs. 11 oz. and 21 inches long.

Main Office Hours

During semester break, December 18-January 5, rooms 260 and 266 Heady will be open 7:30 am-4:00 pm with the exceptions of December 22 and December 27-29 when hours will be 7:30 am-11:30 am. All university offices will be closed December 25, 26, and January 1.

Operating Hours

Rooms 260 and 266 Heady will close at 4:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday, November 20 and 21, and 11:30 am on Wednesday, November 22, for the Thanksgiving break. University offices will be closed November 23-24.

Missing Camera

A Sony digital camera is missing from room 578 Heady. If anyone has seen or borrowed it, please contact Becky Olson, 294-6745.

Kliebenstein Receives Award

James B. Kliebenstein was recently presented the Regional Award for Excellence in College and University Teaching in Food and Agricultural Sciences at the Annual National Association of State Universities and Land-Grant Colleges Meeting in Houston, Texas. He was one of only six to receive the regional award, which encompasses all food and agricultural disciplines.

It's a Boy

Congratulations to Matt Doyle and Stephanie Lluis on the birth of a baby boy! Lucas William Doyle was born at 6:03 a.m. on Monday, November 6, weighing 7 lbs. 12 oz. and 20 1/2" long.
