Economics Graduate is Co-editor of Basic Border Econometrics

Tom Fullerton, MS 1984, is co-editor of "Basic Border Econometrics," UACJ Press. Border economics is an area of the discipline where unsubstantiated claims abound, but relatively little empirical documentation is referenced on an ongoing basis. This collection is designed to help draw attention to some aspects of the United States-Mexico border for which careful empirical analysis has been attempted. Martha Patricia Barraza de Anda, Research Provost at Universidad Autnoma de Ciudad Jurez, is also a co-editor.

University Closed July 4

In observance of the national Independence Day holiday, university offices will be closed and classes will not be held on Wednesday, July 4.

University Closed May 28

University offices will be closed and summer classes in recess Monday, May 28, to observe the national Memorial Day holiday.

Summer Hours

The main office (260-266 Heady) will change to summer hours, 7:30 am-4:00 pm, for the period May 7 to August 10.

Hart Wins Regents Award

Congratulations to Chad Hart on receiving the Professional and Scientific Regents Award for Staff Excellence. He will be recognized at the university's fall convcation and awards ceremony on Monday, September 10, 3:15 pm, in the Memorial Union Sun Room.
