Cardboard recycling changes

Starting January 2nd, 2013, ISU has a new cardboard recycle service provider, Tim Bouska, Denali Recycling Company, an Ames based company.

Please make sure cardboard boxes are broken down and only place corrugated cardboard into cardboard recycle receptacles. Wire receptacles are on the loading dock.

Recycling of mixed paper

On December 19-21, FP&M will provide a mixed paper collection along with the phonebook collection. Mixed paper is any paper that is not white paper which includes colored or slick paper, like magazines, catalogs, and journals.

Please bring phonebooks, colored paper, journals, etc. to Rm 260 for pickup or you can take your box to the loading dock at the end of the day on December 18.

Economics Department Holiday Party

A reminder that the economics department holiday party will be held on Friday, December 7, from 2:00-3:30 PM in 368A Heady Hall. The party is open to faculty, staff, and graduate students in the department. Hope to see everyone there!

Holiday luncheon at Aunt Maudes

The annual holiday luncheon for economic staff and alumni will be held on Thursday, December 20, at 12 noon at Aunt Maude’s. The cost is $7.00 and payment can be made to Donna in 266 Heady. Current department staff can sign up at:
