University Holiday

University offices will be closed and classes will not be held on Monday, July 5, in observance of the national Independence Day holiday.

 

Offices Closed Monday

University offices will be closed and classes recessed Monday, May 31, in observance of the national Memorial Day holiday.

"Live United" Food Drive

The second annual "Live United" Food Drive will take place from June 1-10th.  Items collected will be taken to various food pantries in Story County.  Boxes are located in Curtiss Hall on ground and second floors.

Retirement reception

A reception will be held for Robert Jolly on Wednesday, June 2, 2:30-4:00 pm (brief program begins at 3:00 p.m.)  in 368A Heady Hall. Dr. Jolly is retiring after 31 years with the department.

Summer Hours

The main office (260-266 Heady) will change to summer hours, 7:30 am-4:00 pm, for the period May 10 to August 16.

Congratulations!

Xiang Gao, Tong Wang and Ruiqing Miao were recently awarded Graduate and Professional Student Senate Peer Awards.  Xiang Gao was awarded the GPSS Peer Research Award, Tong Wang and Ruiqing Miao were awarded GPSS Peer Teaching Awards.   They were recognized at the April 18 GPSS meeting with a  certificate and $200 monetary award each. Three out of 10 awardees were from the Economics Department.

Heady Hall Holiday Hours

Heady Hall will be locked, mail and delivery services suspended, and the heat reduced for the December 24-January 3 period. _x000d_
In addition, rooms 260-266 Heady will be open 7:30 am-4:00 pm December 21-23 and January 4-8.

Thanksgiving Break

Classes are recessed November 23-27 for Thanksgiving break. The main office (260-266 Heady) will be open 7:30 am-4:00 pm November 23 and 24, and 7:30 am-3:00 pm on November 25. All university offices will be closed November 26-27.

Daylight Saving Time

Daylight saving time ends on Sunday at 2 a.m. Turn your clocks back one hour.
